Decent Italian “fast food” in Arlington just opened doors!
I’m so happy another lunch/dinner option in the neighborhood! 2.5 weeks ago Paisano’s chain opened doors on the edge of Courthouse neighborhood – right where Route 50 meets Pershing Dr. They deliver all over Arlington and I will include a map below. So if you are tired of Chinese or Pizza delivery – they have other options. It’s not just a pizza place – they have salads, sandwiches, pizza, pastas, etc. You can order online.
Here is their delivery map:
And here is my delicious Baked Ziti:
Give them a try!

An amazing journey in search of productivity
I ran across an article yesterday called “The top 10 lessons I learned from A Year of Productivity” and really wanted to share it with you. It’s Chris Bailey’s story about taking a year off and researching, reading everything possible about productivity and writing about his findings. As a very busy Arlington community we can definitely take a few tips and apply it to our life. I think Chris did an amazing job with all the research and is offering a wealth of valuable tips and information. You can find a lot more stuff on his website. Visit the website! Do it!!!!
Here are the top 10 tips that I really loved in no particular oder:
1. Schedule less time for important tasks
2. Have a “maintenance day” for laundry, errands, cleaning, groceries, etc.
3. Work no more than 35 hours per week
4. Keep all emails to 5 sentences or less
5. Make a list of all that you are waiting on
6. Completely disconnect from the internet if you want something done
7. At the start of every day define 3 outcomes you want to accomplish (not tasks!)
8. Respond to email in batches
9. Ask yourself: “Why do I want to get something done?”
10. Schedule free time.
Hope you check out the website and find something that will make your life better.
Loving Four Sisters Grill!
A new “faster food” Vietnamese Four Sisters Grill opened very recently in Clarendon, Arlington – and I’m absolutely loving it. Their address is 3035 Clarendon Blvd. Arlington, VA 22201. I have never been to their full menu place in Merrifield and I’m sure that restaurant has a lot more menu choices and quality, but for a busy working mother in Arlington this version is perfect. I’m not a big sandwich lover – so the 10$ delicious noodle and rice platters are of really great value and they are prepared in less than 5 minutes. Please check them out!
Envision Courthouse Square
Would you like to have input on

how the heart of Arlington get redeveloped?
Arlington Co kicked off the Envision Courthouse Square planning process with a community workshop in late March, and held another workshop in April. Enthusiastic residents, business owners, developers and community lasers came together to share ideas about re-envisioning the area.
The March workshop launched 10-month planning process for redesigning the 10-acres Courthouse Square area. Attendees filled out surveys, stopped by different work stations and shared their visions for change on topics of open space, sustainability, transportation, cultural space, and the type of architecture and building location and design they would like to see for the area.
The 3rd opportunity to give input and see the editing ideas that have been generated so far is on June 19th and will be held at Key Elementary School. Those who can’t attend are encouraged to to submit feedback online. Learn more about the project and subscribe to receive updates here.
