Courthouse Arlington

Courthouse neighborhood has all the major government buildings – actual Arlington Courthouse, Sheriff’s office, Justice Center, County government administrative buildings. But it’s not stiff! Courthouse has a lot of trees, green space, playgrounds and Courthouse Plaza for relaxing and catching up with your friends.
What do you need to know?
Courthouse, Arlington is a neighborhood developed around Court House Metro stop in Arlington, VA. The buildings here are not as tall as they are in Rosslyn, there are not as many restaurants as Clarendon and Ballston, but it has a more residential feel. It’s near things, but not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle.

Courthouse, Arlington Lifestyle
What I love about Courthouse is it’s urban feel yet peaceful surroundings.
Courthouse has a car-free plaza with lounge chairs, a fountain, a list of restaurants and a coffee shop – a great place for the community to get together and spend time outside. You will see professionals coming home from the Metro, kids on their scooters and friends catching up over coffee.
Courthouse has a Rocky Run Park that attracts kids & families from outside the County. It has a large soccer field, 2 basketball courts, 2 playgrounds (little and big kid) and a huge climbing structure. It’s a place where the whole community gets together to play. You will see soccer practices, basketball matches, birthday parties, lots of strollers, bikes and people having fun.
AMC Movie theatre is right in Courthouse Plaza – easy walk and large lounge chairs.
Courthouse farmers market is every Saturday – it’s one of the largest farmers markets in Arlington.
